MDG Honored with Alpha-Omega Miracle Home 2021 Hope & A Future Award
There are many incredible charitable organizations in our community that we have been blessed with the opportunity to work with over the years, and one that is nearest and dearest to our hearts is Alpha-Omega Miracle Home.
Their extraordinary work has helped countless women and children in our community when they were in need and had nowhere else to turn. We are honored to assist Alpha-Omega by providing site design and permitting for their new campus which will include offices, resident housing, and a multi-purpose building.
Recently, AOMH hosted their Blue Jean Bash & Benefit to help raise funds for the construction of their new campus, as well as to support their life-changing program. At this event, MDG President Rob Matthews and Sr. Project Manager Chris Buttermore were recognized for their work with the organization by receiving the Alpha-Omega Miracle Home 2021 Hope & A Future Award. We are humbled by this recognition and look forward to helping AOMH continue to grow, thrive, and support more women and children in our community.
About Alpha-Omega:
Alpha-Omega Miracle Home provides housing, counseling and education for the new faces of homelessness – single mothers, their children and senior women.
We begin by providing safe housing, medical and dental care, food, clothing and personal items. Each resident works with a case manager & life skills coach and is assisted in securing employment and furthering their education. They also work with a mental health counselor and take classes on budgeting and finances, nutrition and cooking, parenting, career coaching and assessment, etiquette, as well as other life skill classes deemed necessary by the case manager. Our goal and purpose in the above mentioned classes is to ‘fill in the gaps’, so that when the resident leaves our program they will be stable, self-sufficient and able to take care of themselves and their family.
