Matthews | DCCM worked with the City of St. Augustine to improve the Bayfront Park, located just south of Castillo de San Marcos. The park adjoins the St. Augustine Municipal Marina near the heart of historic downtown St. Augustine. This prime site allows land and water access.

Collaborating with sub-consultants, our team prepared a concept design of the site which highlights the best features of the space, including grand views of the waterfront. The park originally featured a kiosk concession stand, along with modern amenities for park visitors’ comfort and convenience. In addition to the concept plan, we were responsible for creating construction plans, administrating contract bids, and overseeing all phases of construction as needed.
