St. Johns Avenue Resurfacing
Palatka, florida

Matthews | DCCM worked with Putnam County to provide plans for repairing and resurfacing St. Johns Avenue from SR 19 to Zeagler Drive (6,300 LF) using an FDOT Small County Outreach Program (SCOP) Local Agency Project (LAP) Grant for funding. The project scope and construction plans included site plans, milling and resurfacing, demolition plans, pavement leveling, repaving, erosion control, drainage design, utility coordination, maintenance of traffice (MOT) plans, S&PM, signalization, SWPPP, permitting, bid assistance/construction administration and post design services. MOT was critical to this design due to the high traffic volume, keep driveway residential/business driveways open, and maintaining roadway widths for emergency vehicles. In order to overcome these setbacks, our team provide a night paving plan to avoid significant impacts on local businesses and residents.
