In 2009, Matthews | DCCM began work on a series of projects supporting facility expansion at the Sheriff’s Office complex. The first of these addressed existing drainage and stormwater management issues. Our team developed several options for the SJCSO to consider and, based on input from county staff, developed a master stormwater management plan and associated construction plans to correct existing problem areas and to address the proposed expansion of the complex. On subsequent projects, We provided site and infrastructure design for two 20,000‐square‐foot, two‐story buildings to house inmates in the county’s work release program; prepared construction drawings for an 8,000‐square‐foot evidence storage building; and prepared construction drawings for a 16,000‐square‐foot building designed to provide vehicle storage.
